Clynden Ave Specialist Clinic is a multidisciplinary healthcare centre founded by Dr Shami in January 2024. Created as a calm, safe and respectful space, the clinic brings together specialists to provide individualised care for women, children and people managing pain or fertility concerns. Its services include general gynaecology and minimally invasive, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, with expertise in complex conditions such as endometriosis and pelvic pain.

The team also offers fertility and IVF care, including support with reproductive options and fertility-optimising surgery, as well as paediatric care and speech therapy. Patients can access pain management and psychotherapy, pelvic physiotherapy and sexual health services, and coaching for menstruation and menopause. The clinic’s specialists include gynaecologists, obstetricians, a paediatrician, a fertility specialist and a pain specialist.

Care is designed to be collaborative and patient-centred, with an emphasis on clear communication, informed choices and coordination across disciplines. Clynden Ave aims to support patients through assessment, treatment and recovery with respectful, tailored care
