About CMA Sri Lanka
The Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA) and the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (SLITHM) have joined forces to offer a professional certification program in Financial and Management Accounting for the Hospitality industry. This joint Certification Programme, known as the "Certified Hospitality Finance and Management Accountant" qualification (CHFMA), aims to provide specialized skills in financial and management accounting for the hospitality industry. CMA, established in 1999, is a full member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), with a total membership of more than 3 million accountants globally.
SLITHM, incorporated in 1966, has been training individuals in the fields of Hospitality, Travel, and Tourism. The CHFMA program offers opportunities for hospitality industry professionals at various levels to obtain specialized credentials, enhancing their knowledge and skills. Through this collaboration, both organizations are dedicated to professionalizing and expanding the skills in the Finance and Accounting fields within the hospitality industry, ultimately contributing to its rapid growth and development
