About CMG Networks
Consortium Management Group (CMG) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming acquisition and expanding the defense technology base. Acting as a responsive and accountable consortium manager, CMG brings together leading companies, academic institutions, and organizations with expertise in specific mission areas to collaborate on innovation. Through a single, flexible, and long-term acquisition instrument known as OTAs (Other Transaction Authorities), the Government gains direct access to CMG consortia, resulting in reduced procurement costs and decreased acquisition time.
CMG currently oversees three OTA consortia: the Consortium for Energy, Environment, and Demilitarization (CEED), the Consortium for Command, Control, and Communications in Cyberspace (C5), and the Naval Aviation Systems Consortium (NASC). By engaging with CMG, businesses and innovators gain access to government markets, capital, and valuable opportunities for growth.
