About ČMKOS
Českomoravská konfederace odborových svazů (ČMKOS) is the largest trade union confederation in the Czech Republic. It is a voluntary, open, and independent democratic association comprising 31 trade unions. The main mission of ČMKOS is to protect the wage, working, and living conditions and rights of employees.
As one of the social partners, ČMKOS actively participates in tripartite negotiations with the government and employers within the Economic and Social Council of the Czech Republic. ČMKOS is also a member of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), and the Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD (TUAC). In addition to its advocacy work, ČMKOS provides legal counseling services for its members and organizes regional trade union structures and activities
