CM Laptop Scheme

The CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 is an innovative initiative launched by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, aimed at empowering students in Punjab with modern technology. This government program seeks to provide over 100,000 laptops free of charge to eligible students who achieve a minimum of 65% in their Matriculation and Intermediate exams. The scheme is designed to enhance educational accessibility and create a strong foundation for technological advancement in the province.

Students from various educational institutions, including the Virtual University, are expected to benefit from this initiative. The application process has been streamlined: instead of individual online applications, educational institutions will compile data on qualifying students, which will subsequently be submitted to the Higher Education Commission for verification. As part of the scheme, applicants must provide essential documents, including academic transcripts and proof of school enrollment. The announcement regarding the official distribution timeline is anticipated by the end of January 2025, and updates will be provided as the discussions progress.
