Colegio Mexicano de Licenciados en Traducción e Interpretación

The Colegio Mexicano de Licenciados en Traducción e Interpretación, A.C. (CMLTI) is a professional association founded in 2018 by translators and interpreters seeking to address challenges in Mexico’s language-services profession. Authorized by Mexico’s Secretariat of Public Education through the General Directorate of Professions, the Colegio works to strengthen and dignify translation and interpreting as essential to intercultural communication.

CMLTI serves its members through professional resources, networking, and educational opportunities. Its offerings include continuing education, access to courses, workshops, diplomas, webinars, conferences, and other events, with member discounts and preferential or no-cost admission to some activities. The association also publishes indicative professional fee schedules for translation, audiovisual translation, and interpreting, based on a survey of its members.
