About CMPA
The Canadian Military Police Association (CMPA) is a non-profit national organization dedicated to improving the lives of current and former Military Police Branch personnel. As an all-volunteer organization, the CMPA promotes camaraderie and builds connections through scholarships, corporate sponsorships, and a platform for fostering old and new ties. Founded in 1983 and carrying on the traditions of previous associations, the CMPA serves as a focal point for members of the Canadian Armed Forces Military Police, past and present.
Their mission is to enhance the lives of those who have served or are serving in this branch and cultivate esprit de corps within the Canadian Military Police community. The CMPA achieves its objectives by fostering camaraderie, preserving traditions, recognizing achievements of veterans and active members, supporting wounded veterans, and promoting public interest in the Military Police Branch. They also participate in community programs, outreach initiatives, and serve as a voting member association in the influential Conference of Defence Associations.
