The Herd Polo Pony Sanctuary is dedicated to providing a forever home for injured, rescued, and retired polo ponies. With a strong commitment to their health and well-being, the sanctuary offers a refuge where both ponies and people can thrive. Their mission focuses on creating a space for meaningful human-animal interactions that support mental health and well-being. Visitors can engage with the ponies, fostering a deeper understanding and love for these magnificent animals.

The sanctuary is supported by a passionate team of volunteers and donors who work tirelessly to ensure the ponies receive the care they deserve. Activities offered include one-on-one interactions with the ponies and community programs aimed at raising awareness about equine welfare. The Herd also provides opportunities to get involved, whether through volunteering or sponsorship.

Located at Crossways Farm Village in the Eastern Cape, The Herd operates daily from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, welcoming all who wish to experience the joy and healing that these remarkable ponies can provide.
