Crawley Mariners Yacht Club (CMYC) is celebrated as one of Sussex's friendliest dinghy sailing clubs, dedicated to providing an inclusive and enjoyable environment for sailing enthusiasts of all ages. Located at Hedgecourt Lake, the club hosts a variety of activities, including dinghy racing, coastal cruising, and social sailing events. Members can engage in comprehensive training programs through recognized RYA courses for both adults and juniors, catering from beginner to advanced levels.

CMYC fosters a strong community spirit, welcoming new members and encouraging participation at all skill levels. The club's focus on affordability ensures that sailing is accessible to everyone, with organized events running year-round. Young sailors can benefit from initiatives like the Junior Helm Week and Saturday Clubs, designed to nurture their passion and skill in sailing.

While CMYC eschews a commercial approach to maintain its friendly atmosphere, it offers essential facilities and a supportive network of experienced sailors, making it an ideal choice for those looking to explore the joys of sailing.
