CNIPT-Pommes de terre de France

The CNIPT (National Interprofessional Committee for Potatoes) is the French interprofessional organization serving the fresh-market potato sector in France and for export. It brings together people and organizations across the industry to coordinate shared priorities and support the product and its professionals. Its member representatives help define strategies, actions and rules in response to challenges facing the sector.

The CNIPT provides market monitoring, studies and economic information to help industry members understand trends and guide their activities. Resources include market quotations and indices, economic dashboards, production and consumption data, and information on export markets. The organization also supports quality management throughout the supply chain through professional guidance, evaluations, reference materials, monitoring plans and training. In collaboration with Arvalis-Institut du Végétal, it leads and funds agricultural research and development to improve production and potatoes. To encourage consumption in France and abroad, the CNIPT coordinates communication for the sector, including media campaigns, press relations, digital tools and events. It also publishes industry news through its website and Pomme de Terre Hebdo.
