About CO₂Value
CO₂Value Europe is an international and non-profit association that represents the Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) community in Europe. Established in November 2017, CO₂Value Europe has quickly become the leading voice for CCU in Europe. With over 70 pioneer members, including industries, research organizations, universities, start-ups, and regional clusters, the association has built a strong network of organizations and individuals who believe in the importance of CCU technologies in reducing greenhouse emissions and helping the EU reach its climate targets.
CO₂Value Europe promotes the use of CCU as a solution to reduce CO2 emissions and move away from fossil carbon use. CCU plays a crucial role in sectors where alternative solutions are limited in the short term. The association conducts various activities, including policy advocacy, scientific research, and project development, to advance the adoption of CCU technologies.
