About COAC
Clube Ornitológico de Aveiras de Cima (COAC) is an ornithological club based in the Azambuja area of Portugal. Its website provides information and services for members, prospective members, and people interested in the club’s activities. Visitors can apply to join, while members can use a reserved online area to access personal details, pay membership fees, and request identification rings for birds. The site also shares information about ring orders in progress and lists membership and administrative sections.
COAC promotes ornithological events and exhibitions, with news and records referring to bird shows and related gatherings in Azambuja and elsewhere, including AVIXIRA and the Monográfica 320. The club also presents the Prémio Nobel COAC, with a 2018 award entry naming Carlos Ramôa. Its website includes event information, announcements, contact details, and links to relevant organisations such as FOP, DGAV, and ICNF. COAC can be contacted by email or telephone, and its listed address is at Edifício ACISMA, Rua Quinta da Mina, Azambuja.
