CoAction West Cork

CoAction is a registered charity based in Bantry, serving communities across West Cork, Ireland. Its mission is to provide quality support for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, with or without autism, helping each person develop their potential and live a life of their choosing. The organisation views those it supports as unique individuals with abilities and a right to participate fully in community life as equal citizens.

CoAction works in partnership with families and carers to help people access the support they need to live valued, fulfilled lives. Its services include the West Cork Children’s Disability Network Team, adult support services and children’s support services. Across this work, CoAction aims to help people establish and sustain an ordinary life within their community.

The organisation also invites people to contribute through donations, fundraising and volunteering. These contributions help it continue providing services and support across West Cork. CoAction’s work is grounded in the belief that people with disabilities should have the opportunity and support to shape their own lives and take part in all aspects of society.
