COAM

The Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM) is the professional association for architects in Madrid. It supports its members through services that help them develop their careers and manage professional practice, including architectural project validation, technical, legal, employment and tax advice, insurance information, training, and job and scholarship listings. Members can access COAM Digital, continuing education, professional guidance, competitions, and a directory for finding architects by specialty or location.

The organisation also serves companies and the public through information on architecture, rehabilitation and professional services. Its activities extend beyond practical support: COAM promotes architecture and sustainable urbanism through cultural programming, exhibitions, events, podcasts, publications and media. Its resources include a library, a historical archive, an online catalogue of the magazine Arquitectura, and a guide to Madrid’s buildings.
