Coast and Country is a Queensland-based consultancy that helps land managers plan and deliver natural resource management, sustainable agriculture, water resource, and property improvement projects. The organisation supports landowners in identifying suitable funding opportunities and preparing grant applications for government, philanthropic, and other non-government programmes. Its approach is collaborative: it listens to each client, assesses their needs, and shapes applications to align project goals with funder priorities.
Coast and Country also helps clients navigate changing grant requirements and regional priorities, encouraging multi-year planning so property improvements can proceed over time and remain aligned with future funding rounds. Where relevant, it recommends discussing proposals with regional natural resource management bodies to connect local needs with broader objectives for land, water, communities, and knowledge. The consultancy works with landowners across a quarter of Queensland’s catchments and has existing projects throughout the state, giving it experience with regional contexts and available grants. Its services are intended to help clients find funding for practical projects that deliver lasting benefits for their properties and communities.
