COATT

The Col·legi Oficial de l’Arquitectura Tècnica de Tarragona (COATT) is the public professional association representing technical architects, building engineers and other qualified professionals in Tarragona. With more than 80 years of experience, it supports members, promotes the profession and helps the public access trusted expertise for construction, renovation and property-related procedures.

COATT provides professional guidance, technical resources and assistance with professional liability matters. Its services include digital project approvals, document validation, reference-budget calculations, equipment rental, employment opportunities and access to professional directories. The association also offers in-person and online training, information sessions and tailored courses, alongside publications and sector updates.

For individuals planning building work, COATT connects users with qualified local professionals through Obresambgarantia.com, where they can request up to three quotes for projects, renovations and certificates. Its other initiatives include iOBRA, a digital tool for managing and documenting works, and an educational program introducing technical architecture in schools. Through its foundation, COATT also supports solidarity and accessibility in construction, serving both its professional community and residents of the Tarragona area.
