About Cobbunity
Cobbunity is an initiative of Cobb Travel & Tourism created to support, celebrate, and recognize the diverse communities and individuals of Cobb County, Georgia. Guided by the belief that all are welcome, it encourages people of different backgrounds, identities, faiths, and economic circumstances to visit, work, and live in the county. The initiative highlights inclusive ways to experience Cobb, including accessible and sensory-friendly attractions, competitive sports programs for people with disabilities, and facilities such as Horizon Field in Acworth.
Visitors can explore hiking, history, arts, entertainment, dining, and the 61. 5-mile Silver Comet Trail. Cobbunity also promotes the county’s major sports, concert, and cultural events at venues including Truist Park, the Coca-Cola Roxy, The Strand Theatre, Six Flags Over Georgia, Cobb Galleria Centre, and the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.
Through its Changemaker recognition program, Cobbunity invites the public to nominate people who exemplify the strengths of Cobb’s diverse community. Its work celebrates local people and places while encouraging a more welcoming and inclusive county
