COBRA KAI COMBAT

Cobra Kaï Combat is a karate club founded by Michel Deglaire in 2017 and based at the Aldo Piémontesi Sports Complex in Ollioules, in the west Toulon area of France. The club welcomes people of all ages and experience levels, offering karate classes for children from age four, teenagers, and adults with no upper age limit. Instruction is provided by teachers qualified through the French Karate Federation (FFK), with an emphasis on enabling beginners and experienced practitioners alike to train safely.

The club introduces students to karate, a Japanese martial art originating on the island of Okinawa, and its offensive and defensive techniques. Training and competition encompass kumite, or sparring between two athletes wearing protective equipment, and kata, structured sequences of movements assessed for qualities such as precision and speed. Kata competitions may be individual or team-based. The club’s website provides practical information about instructors, class schedules, planning, and contact details, alongside karate resources covering origins, kata, and terminology.
