Cobras Architects is a multidisciplinary architecture and interior design practice based in Heule, near Kortrijk, Belgium. Founded in 2024 by architect Willem Devos and interior architect Jelle Vandecasteele, it builds on Jelle’s independent practice, which has operated under the Cobras name since 2019. The team works on private and professional projects in Flanders and abroad, including in New York.
Cobras designs and transforms living spaces, workplaces and broader built environments, aiming to make them more flexible, efficient and suited to the people who use them. Its holistic approach puts a project’s purpose and content first, bringing architecture into dialogue with interiors, surroundings and users. Alongside its in-house architects, interior architects and project managers, Cobras draws on a collective of external specialists to assemble teams with relevant expertise.
Services cover the full project process: translating a client’s ambitions into a realistic project document, developing preliminary concepts into detailed final designs, and coordinating and supervising execution after tendering.
