COCEMFE NAVARRA

COCEMFE Navarra is a federation representing 20 member associations and people with physical and organic disabilities in Navarra, Spain. Its work focuses on improving quality of life, autonomy and independent living, while giving a collective voice to the disability community. The federation provides direct support to individuals and practical services to its member organisations.

Its programmes include AVANZA Navarra, which connects employers and jobseekers and supports more than 500 employment contracts a year, as well as Bonotaxi for adapted taxi travel. Other services promote equality and empowerment for women with disabilities, independent living through personal assistance, training and guidance, and access to housing with appropriate support. COCEMFE Navarra also works on universal accessibility and assistive products, organises inclusive leisure, cultural and health activities, and offers an information office for questions about disability. For associations, it provides services intended to support their day-to-day work. The organisation also shares disability-related news and campaigns, encourages community participation and collaboration, and offers information about activities and employment opportunities.
