About COCNVOLAM
Colectivo Ornitológico Cigüeña Negra (COCN) is an ornithological organization focused on birds and environmental activity. Its website serves as a hub for news, information about its work, and ways for people to get involved, including becoming a member. The group shares updates on campaigns such as “1m2 contra la basuraleza,” an initiative inviting participants to help address litter in natural areas.
COCN also provides access to its bird database and related field logs, supporting the collection and sharing of ornithological information. Its associated projects and resources include the Estación Ornitológica de Tarifa, the Mirador Ornitológico de Palmones, and the Equipo de Anillamiento Cigüeña Negra. Visitors can find links to these initiatives, follow the organization through social media, and browse the COCN shop.
The site also highlights work connected with coastal wetlands in the Strait of Gibraltar and offers information about activities and participation. Together, these resources present COCN as a community-oriented group combining bird observation, information sharing, and opportunities for environmental engagement
