Coco Shrimp is a brand that brings the taste and atmosphere of Hawaiian shrimp trucks to Texas. It all started with a small food truck, inspired by the vibrant food and shrimp trucks in Hawaii. After years of success, Coco Shrimp expanded and now has four locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and continues to grow rapidly.
The brand's story began when Isaac and Lauren Hadley fell in love with the laid-back lifestyle and food culture of the North Shore of Oahu during their time at BYU-Hawaii. In 2016, they turned an old ambulance into a food truck, serving delicious Hawaiian-style shrimp. Soon after, Mary and Jordan Barrus joined the team, and together, they worked hard to bring the flavors of Hawaii to more and more people.
In 2019, Coco Shrimp opened its first brick and mortar restaurant in downtown Fort Worth, transforming an old building into a unique and charming space. Despite the challenges brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, the brand persevered and opened additional locations in North Fort Worth, Watauga, and Denton. Coco Shrimp's success can be attributed to the support of its loyal fans and the love for their mouthwatering shrimp dishes.
With each location having its own flair and character, Coco Shrimp aims to spread their passion for Hawaiian-style shrimp from coast to coast. Visit one of their locations to experience the taste of Hawaii in Texas
