We believe in cocreating the values and sense of universality that define humanity, with everyone contributing to their fullest potential. Our aim as humanitarians extends to how we interact with each other, fostering a culture of care that supports and nurtures our inner well-being and authenticity.

In an organizational context, a culture of care means that employers provide prompt and effective mechanisms to respond to the impact of violence that humanitarian workers and their colleagues may face during their missions. It also involves honoring and commemorating colleagues who have lost their lives in their humanitarian endeavors. Our charter further outlines our purpose, underlying values, and approaches to ensure the well-being of humanitarian workers globally.
