The Contemporary Dayton (The Co) is a dynamic contemporary art center located in Dayton, Ohio. As a 501c3 non-profit organization, The Co is committed to producing and presenting original exhibitions and programs that showcase the work of artists living and working today. The Co boasts three galleries that are open to the public and always free to visit. Additionally, their retail store, the CoSHOP, supports Ohio artists by selling a curated selection of art-related products. This extends The Co's accessibility to art and helps fund their educational outreach efforts.

Notably, The Co has made a significant impact on the region, with an annual economic impact of 3. 4 million dollars. Recently, they raised 1 million dollars during the Pandemic to expand and move into their new home in downtown's historic Dayton Arcade.
