About Code Club
Code Club, an initiative under the auspices of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, provides a dynamic platform for young people to learn coding in a safe and supportive environment. Designed for children, Code Club emphasizes the development of digital skills through engaging projects and collaborative activities, fostering creativity and confidence in technology. The club is committed to the highest standards of safeguarding, ensuring that all participants feel secure while exploring new concepts.
Mentors are required to adhere to a Code Club Charter and complete background checks and safeguarding training to maintain a safe atmosphere. Code Club offers various opportunities including joining a club, running one, or partnering with local organizations. Additional resources are available to support both learners and mentors.
With a strong community focus, Code Club aims to inspire the next generation of coders by equipping them with essential skills for the digital age while promoting a culture of safety and inclusion
