Codex Press

Codex Press is a digital publishing platform for tabletop role-playing game creators, helping turn homebrew ideas into polished books. Its tools support writing, layout, and publication, with custom themes and drag-and-drop elements for arranging content. The Typesetter provides automatic page flow and overflow protection, designed to keep formatting consistent across both short and long books.

Creators can also use the Drafting Table, edit SVG artwork, organize collections, and share their work. The platform includes a library for saved books, a gallery for browsing public uploads, campaigns, and a Fight Club feature for virtual tabletop play. Browsing published books does not require an account, while signing in provides access to a personal library and creator features.

Core functions—including writing, formatting, collection management, SVG editing, virtual tabletop tools, and sharing—are free. A subscription is required for exporting documents longer than 50 pages, exporting more than four PDFs per day, and using advanced SVG tools
