About COEsmoriz
COEsmoriz, the Clube Ornitológico de Esmoriz, is a bird and aviculture club based in Esmoriz, Portugal. With more than 40 years of history, it brings together people interested in birds and offers opportunities to participate in a community dedicated to the subject. The club invites prospective members to learn about the advantages of joining and to share their experiences.
A central part of COEsmoriz’s activities is its bird exhibitions. Its annual Expo Ave events have presented a wide range of birds, including canaries, albino varieties, frilled canaries, Glosters, ducks, ornamental chickens, doves and quail. The exhibitions give visitors a chance to see different species and include recognition of award-winning birds. Recent editions have taken place at Atlantic Park in Ovar.
The club also coordinates requests for identification rings for birds, including advance orders for the coming year. COEsmoriz is located on Rua Padre Manuel Dias Costa in Esmoriz and can be contacted by email at [email protected].
