About Coffee and Quilts
Coffee and Quilts, LLC is the quilting and design brand of Heather Long, a quilter with more than 20 years of experience and a designer for seven years. A mother of three, Heather returned to quilting after a major health issue and describes her creative approach with the motto, “When life is scrappy, make quilts.” Through Coffee and Quilts, she shares quilting inspiration, designs and resources for fellow makers.
The brand’s offerings include downloadable quilt patterns, a shop, a portfolio of designs and a section featuring three-yard quilts. The site also provides information and resources for quilt shop owners, along with pattern corrections and a blog. Heather is a fabric designer for Wilmington Prints and has previously worked as a Desire to Inspire designer for Henry Glass Fabrics and created designs for the Moda Bake Shop. Her patterns have appeared in Quiltmaker, Quilt Sampler and Fons & Porter’s Quick & Easy Quilts, and she has been a guest on Pat Sloan’s American Patchwork & Quilting podcast.
