Cofradiasyhermandades.es is an online information and discovery project dedicated to Spain’s Holy Week celebrations and the broader world of religious brotherhoods and confraternities. It brings together details about celebrations in towns and cities across the country, helping visitors explore local traditions, processions, events, and the organizations that take part in them. The site’s directory covers confraternities and brotherhoods, processions and other activities, religious images and sculptural groups, artists, posters, photographs, and multimedia. It also highlights special processions, congresses, and gatherings held beyond the usual Holy Week calendar.

Designed as an interconnected resource, the website links localities to their celebrations and organizations to individual profiles, while image and group entries lead to further information. Its content is continually growing and being updated, with the project inviting users to submit information, references, images, and videos or report corrections. Cofradiasyhermandades.es aims to gather and share Spain’s rich material and intangible heritage, offering an engaging way to learn about the country’s diverse cofrade traditions.
