About Cognita AS
Cognita AS is a brand that has been developing technical assistive devices since 1985, with a primary focus on people with cognitive disabilities. They specialize in cognition, communication, alternative computer access, and alert systems for epilepsy and healthcare personnel. One of their notable products is the Cognita Clock, a visual day planner designed for children and young adults.
This clock makes time more manageable and visual for individuals with cognitive disabilities. Founded by Bjørn and Mona Falck-Andersen, Cognita has a strong foundation and philosophy of providing accessible technology to those with cognitive disabilities. Their goal is to ensure that this group is not left out of technological advancements and that they are seen as valuable resources.
