The Central Forum of Soviet Numismatists is an online community for collectors and researchers interested in coins, medals, and related historical objects. Its extensive discussion boards cover Russian coinage from the pre-Petrine era through the modern period, including Imperial Russia, the RSFSR and USSR, contemporary Russia, former Soviet republics, and coins from around the world. Members can seek help with identification, valuation, varieties, minting errors, authenticity, and auction results, while specialist sections address ancient and Byzantine coins, local currencies, tokens, banknotes, medals, and philately.

The site also supports practical collecting through discussions of storage, cleaning, photography, cataloguing, software, and numismatic literature. Its marketplace offers sections for buying and selling coins and other collectible material, including medals, tokens, banknotes, books, and accessories; dedicated areas also host charitable sales and auction archives for reference. Additional resources include community articles, a numismatic dictionary, biographies, a wiki, FAQs, and site rules. With active member discussions, reference material, and trading areas, the forum serves as a hub for exchanging expertise and connecting collectors.
