About Collectif des Jeunes pour la Paix et la Réconciliation au Mali
Collectif des Jeunes pour la Paix et la Réconciliation au Mali (COJEPAREM) is an independent and impartial Malian non-governmental organization dedicated to peace and reconciliation. Established in 2014, COJEPAREM supports the efforts of young and women's organizations as well as the government in achieving peace, stability, and development in Mali. They provide training, advice, and support to local communities to empower them to build peace.
The organization focuses on key issues that affect sustainable peace and stability. Their work is centered around four major pillars: Shared and Inclusive Governance, Leadership Development for Youth and Women, Humanitarian Access Facilitation in conflict zones, and Countering Violent Extremism. COJEPAREM conducts campaigns to raise awareness on peace and reconciliation, trains local civil society organizations, promotes inclusive governance, and addresses natural resource management.
