About Fundación De Arte Contemporáneo
Fundación de Arte Contemporáneo (FAC) is a collective of contemporary artists from Uruguay. They are dedicated to the dissemination and research of different types of artworks and their theoretical frameworks. Established in 1999, FAC focuses on the teaching aspect of art, using artistic strategies to emphasize the value of ideas in the production process.
All their activities are self-managed and self-sustained. FAC offers a range of courses and services, including an Introduction to Contemporary Art course, an Annual Course, visual arts project consultancy, and individualized clinics. These courses provide in-depth exploration of contemporary art theory, showcasing various artists, philosophers, and art professionals.
