They recently signed the Por un Bolívar libre de hambre pact, along with the ANDI Seccional Bolívar, the Association of Food Banks of Colombia - ABACO, and 30 other companies. This initiative, led by the Alliance for Child Nutrition, aims to create Pactos contra el hambre (Pacts against Hunger) throughout the country, where institutions from different sectors join forces to eradicate hunger and improve child nutrition.
The current data reveals a concerning situation, with 35% of the Colombian population experiencing moderate to severe food insecurity and 12. 6 million people lacking access to nutrient-rich foods on a daily basis. In Bolívar, 38.
