Coles Fine Flooring was a family-owned flooring business serving the San Diego community and surrounding areas of Southern California. Established in 1947, the company helped homeowners and businesses update their spaces with flooring products and services. Its selection included hardwood, carpet, vinyl, and other flooring options, with offerings intended to help customers transform their homes and commercial interiors. Coles operated locations in San Diego, San Marcos, and Santee, and its website also provided resources such as a blog, frequently asked questions, testimonials, and a flooring quiz.

After 77 years in business, Coles Fine Flooring announced that it was closing, thanking customers, employees, friends, and community partners for their support across generations. The website states that all locations are closed, and the listed store hours are marked closed. Although the business is no longer open, its history reflects a long-standing role in the local flooring market and a focus on quality, trusted service, and helping people create attractive spaces.
