About College IC – Collège IC
The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (Collège IC) is the regulatory body that licenses and regulates the practice of Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) and Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs). Their primary goal is to protect the public by ensuring that immigration and citizenship consultants adhere to a high standard of professional conduct and competence. Through their licensing process, Collège IC verifies that immigration consultants are authorized and actively licensed.
They also provide a public search register where individuals can verify the status of their immigration consultant. If there are any concerns regarding an RCIC's or RISIA's professional conduct or competence, individuals have the ability to make a complaint. Collège IC also publishes a Monthly Bulletin, which serves as a valuable source of information on the immigration and citizenship profession.
