College for Kids, Inc. is a Palm Beach County nonprofit that has supported young people since 2009 through mentoring, scholarships, and guided college and career exploration. Its mission is to help ensure that a student’s circumstances of birth do not determine their future. The organization serves youth from low-income households and connects students with the program that best fits their goals, offering dedicated mentors, academic coaching, and expert advising.
College for Kids supports college-bound students in grades 6 through 11 with scholarships, mentoring, and academic coaching. Take Stock in Children Palm Beach provides similar support to college-bound students in grades 6 through 11 through a model described by the organization as proven over more than 35 years. For students exploring vocational pathways, TradeUp combines mentoring and coaching with hands-on career exploration and serves trade-focused students in grades 10 through 12.
