About Collezione Maramotti
Collezione Maramotti is a private collection of contemporary art located in Reggio Emilia. It houses a significant selection of artworks created from 1945 to the present day. Founded in the 1970s by Achille Maramotti, the collection was intended to provide a space for aesthetic and intellectual enjoyment, open to passionate art enthusiasts.
Until 2000, a number of acquired artworks were displayed in the passage spaces of the Max Mara factory on Via Fratelli Cervi, promoting a daily and stimulating coexistence between artistic creativity and industrial design. Today, this very building has become the permanent home of Collezione Maramotti. The collection features ongoing and upcoming temporary exhibitions, showcasing the works of renowned artists such as Andriu Deplazes and Giulia Andreani.
Alongside the exhibitions, Collezione Maramotti also hosts the Max Mara Art Prize for Women, supporting the artistic endeavors of talented female artists. For more information, visit their official website or contact them via phone or email
