Colombia Arbitration Week (CAW) is an academic event organized in collaboration with Colombian Very Young Arbitration Practitioners (COLVYAP) to highlight the practice of arbitration in Colombia and foster intergenerational connections among participants. This unique event serves as a platform for in-depth discussions on arbitration and its challenges and prospects in Colombia.

Featuring a hybrid format, CAW offers both virtual and in-person panels that welcome attendees from around the globe. Renowned experts from the Colombian and international arbitration community lead these panels, covering a wide range of current and engaging topics, including national and international disputes, parallel procedures in arbitration, international courts and judges, local communities in investment arbitration, and dispute resolution related to climate change.

The first edition of CAW in September 2022 attracted 30 panelists and approximately 300 attendees, including students, arbitrators, legal representatives, academics, public officials, and corporate lawyers. The upcoming second edition scheduled for September 18-22, 2023, promises to deliver even more innovative panels and high-quality speakers, continuing to connect and engage the arbitration community.
