The Colon Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing colorectal cancer incidence and death. Established in 2008, their mission is to promote research, raise public awareness, and collaborate with strategic partners to fight against colorectal cancer. Colorectal cancer is a serious health concern that affects both men and women of all races and age groups.

Alarmingly, the incidence and mortality rates among individuals under 50 years old are rising. In fact, patients younger than 55 are 58% more likely to be diagnosed with advanced-stage disease. What's more, 70% of early-age onset colorectal cancer cases have no known risk factors.

The foundation offers various programs and resources to support their mission, including a research program, provider outreach program, and the Early-Age Onset Colorectal Cancer Summit. They also provide valuable information on colorectal cancer prevention, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and financial assistance. In addition, the Colon Cancer Foundation offers multiple ways for individuals to get involved, such as participating in the Colon Cancer Challenge or organizing their own fundraising event.

By joining forces with the foundation, you can help raise awareness, spread prevention strategies, and ultimately save lives. Together, we can work towards a world without colorectal cancer
