Colonie Feline is an Italian nonprofit organization and national platform dedicated to coordinating and supporting feline colonies across Italy. Promoted by Colonie Feline ODV, it connects volunteers, veterinarians, associations and donors to improve the welfare of free-roaming cats and support the people who care for them. Its work focuses on organizing colony information, coordinating health interventions, providing suitable food and helping create safer environments.
The platform invites people to register a feline colony, volunteer in their community, join its national network or contribute through recurring donations, materials and professional skills. It also offers opportunities to sponsor projects, receive updates through its newsletter and learn about welcoming a FeLV-positive cat. Colonie Feline describes its approach as ethical, transparent and digital, with the aim of building a sustainable model that can be used throughout Italy.
The organization reports supporting more than one million colony cats and highlights food, veterinary care and sterilization among its areas of intervention
