The Colorado NHL Alumni Association connects former Colorado Avalanche and NHL players with communities across Colorado, using hockey as a way to give back and strengthen the game. Its mission is to elevate hockey’s spirit through community commitment and support for its hockey family, guided by three pillars: The Locker Room, Growing the Game, and Accessibility.

The association offers youth clinics and opportunities to skate with NHL alumni, where former players share their experience and coach participants in developing their hockey skills. Alumni also take part in community events and other programming designed to engage local families and support the sport. The organization invites people to get involved through volunteering, donations, corporate sponsorships, and grant and scholarship applications. It also provides opportunities to inquire about corporate experiences with alumni and shares information about events, alumni, and its executive board.

Through these activities, the Colorado NHL Alumni Association brings former players and community members together, helping make hockey more accessible while supporting the people and programs connected to the game.
