About Colorado Public Health Association
Colorado Public Health Association (CPHA) is a brand dedicated to creating a healthier Colorado for everyone. Committed to addressing real societal issues head-on, CPHA aims to uplift the public health workforce and the Colorado community as a whole. At the core of their mission is a strong belief in the importance of anti-racism and equity, recognizing that this is crucial to building a public health movement.
To achieve their vision and mission, CPHA focuses on three core areas of work. Firstly, they provide professional education through platforms such as Public Health in the Rockies and Culture of Data, along with other seminars and workshops. Secondly, CPHA offers opportunities for members to get involved in policy and advocacy work, empowering them to be informed and active public health advocates.
Lastly, they strive to expand and strengthen the public health network in Colorado by organizing networking activities, educational and social events, and various learning opportunities. By putting their hearts and minds into it, CPHA believes that change is possible and actively works towards becoming an anti-racist organization.
