Colores Climbing

Colores Climbing + Coffee is a community-focused project in Salinas, California, working to create the area’s first rock climbing gym and café. Founded by a group of climbers, parents, and neighbors, the brand aims to offer a welcoming place where people can climb, connect, and feel at home. Its vision is family-friendly and inclusive, with opportunities for beginners to try climbing, children to learn, and climbers of different skill levels to enjoy the sport without feeling intimidated.

Alongside climbing, Colores plans to offer a café serving coffee, tea, and food. The café is intended not only as a place to refuel, but also as a gathering spot for sharing stories and planning future adventures. Colores brings together recreation and community in a space designed for people to spend time together, whether they come to climb or simply connect over a drink. Guided by the ideas “Climb con Cultura” and “Climb con Colores,” the brand emphasizes an accessible, sociable approach to climbing and local community life.
