ColorOS

ColorOS is OPPO’s mobile operating system, designed to make everyday smartphone use feel smooth, intuitive, and personal. Its latest version, ColorOS 17, introduces a fluid visual language with responsive animations, natural touch feedback, and clearer interface effects. OPPO says its Aurora and Tide engines help deliver seamless interactions and manage performance according to how people use their apps.

The system’s AI assistant, Xiaobu, helps organize tasks, surface timely reminders, and connect users with everyday services across more than 700 scenarios. ColorOS also offers AI tools for photo editing, memory albums, note-taking, knowledge organization, and translation, alongside features that support travel, navigation, fitness, and accessibility. Safety capabilities include cross-app fraud warnings, call risk detection, and AI face-swap detection.

ColorOS is built to coordinate experiences across activities such as photography, work, study, and exercise, including selected OPPO devices and compatible third-party products. Available features and supported devices vary by model, software version, region, and service availability.
