Colt 45

SSV Colt 45 is a shooting sports association based in Amsterdam, serving local enthusiasts since its founding in 1977. Originally established in Haarlem, the club moved to Amsterdam Noord in 1979 and relocated in 2019 to its current premises on Korte Papaverweg, within the building of SV Contact Oud Mariniers. It is affiliated with the Royal Netherlands Shooting Association (KNSA).

The club offers facilities for both rifle and handgun shooters. Its range has six 12-metre lanes, automatic target-card transport and a steel bullet trap. SSV Colt 45 is open on Fridays from 8:30 p.m. until midnight, and welcomes people interested in learning about the sport to arrange an introductory visit. Visitors are asked to call during Friday opening hours or contact the club by email in advance.

The association also provides information about its shooting protocol, introductory course, disciplines, safety practices, membership for prospective members, and governing statutes and regulations.
