ColtiviAmolavita is a volunteer-run, nonprofit association serving people with disabilities and their families in the Tivoli area of Rome. Founded around the participation of local families, members and volunteers, it works to improve quality of life and support each person’s abilities, confidence and independence. Its central aim is to build a “life project” for participants, promoting inclusion and meaningful involvement in the community.
The association organizes recreational activities, workshops and targeted projects designed to strengthen individual skills and encourage social integration. A key part of its approach is the Social Farm, conceived as a practical response to people’s needs and aspirations and as a setting for inclusion and greater autonomy. ColtiviAmolavita also shares community news and events, including bowling meetups and exhibitions of participants’ creative work, such as ceramics. People can get involved by volunteering or support the association through donations and Italy’s 5×1000 tax allocation. Based in Tivoli, ColtiviAmolavita works to create positive change for people with disabilities across its local community.
