Columbia Protection is a veteran-owned security company serving Spokane and organizations across the Inland Northwest. Focused on proactive risk reduction, the company provides armed security guards, mobile patrols, alarm response, and camera monitoring for businesses and other clients facing significant security challenges. Its approach emphasizes visible deterrence, rapid response, and practical measures intended to prevent incidents rather than simply record them.

Services include on-site officers for properties and public venues, patrols that involve officers walking sites and addressing problems, and event security for activities ranging from rodeos and concerts to hotel functions. The company also serves healthcare facilities, commercial properties, courts, schools, municipalities, and other organizations. Columbia Protection builds customized security plans around each client’s needs and offers target-hardening strategies such as improved lighting, secure access points, fencing, and clearer sightlines.

Through the Columbia Protection Security Academy, it provides training in risk reduction, crisis response, de-escalation, and active-killer response, and supports organizations establishing in-house security teams. The company says it earns continued business through performance rather than long-term contracts
