Columbus Cancer Care provides comprehensive cancer services for patients in Columbus, Nebraska, through Columbus Community Hospital and its clinical partners. Care includes radiation oncology, medical oncology and hematology, chemotherapy, intravenous infusions, injections, cancer imaging, breast care, rehabilitation, and access to specialty physicians. Patients may receive treatment locally even when their initial therapy begins at another hospital or clinic.

Support extends beyond medical treatment. The free Patient Navigation Program connects patients and families with oncology nurse navigators and resource specialists who can explain diagnoses and treatment options, coordinate with care teams, and help locate community, financial, insurance, transportation, counseling, legal, and home-care resources. Thrive Cancer Rehabilitation Care supports survivors’ physical and emotional recovery from treatment.

Services are currently provided at Columbus Community Hospital, nearby medical offices, and the Columbus Wellness Center. The Mead Family Cancer Center, planned to open in November 2026 adjacent to the hospital, will bring cancer care together under one roof. Its planned radiology services include CT, MRI, PSMA PET, PET/CT, and ultrasound.
