Combat Athlete Performance Academy (CAPA) is a veteran-founded martial arts and fitness academy in Warren, Ohio, created by Marine combat veteran Brian Anderson Needham. Built around the idea of becoming stronger through change, CAPA welcomes people of different ages, abilities, and experience levels, with 24/7 gym access and no annual fees.
The academy offers Fighter Fit, a high-intensity class combining striking, footwork, and cardio, alongside Boot Camp workouts focused on strength and conditioning. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes cover gi and no-gi grappling, from fundamentals to live training. Other options include practical self-defense and firearm-safety courses, adaptive training for young athletes, private coaching, and a Parkinson’s movement and boxing program. CAPA also provides safety training through its Weapon Brand partnership for individuals, families, businesses, and organizations, including Ohio-approved continuing education for real estate professionals.
Members can choose gym-only access or a plan that includes scheduled classes. Additional facilities and services include a full-spectrum infrared sauna with red light and access to a licensed massage therapist.
